Pandora's Box is located in Frankston, Texas. It is one of our favorite places to shop. They have everything you can think of.

Come and Take It

Come and Take It is Athens newest store. Purveyors of beer, wine, and fine foods. Come and Take It has a huge selection of craft, import, and domestic beers, fine wines from around the world, and gourmet grocery items." Wine tastings are held every Saturday of Canton's First Monday from 2-5.

Needle Niche

The Needle Niche is a full service quilt shop. They have a large selection of the latest fabrics including reproductions, batiks, westerns, and an awesome collection of basic colors.

Pine Dunes Golf Course

Pine Dunes is rated the #1 golf course in Texas by Golf Week Magazine. It is located in Frankston, Texas -only a short 20 minute drive from New York, Texas ZipLine Adventures. They also offer lodging. This is an East Texas premier golf destination.

Lake Athens Marina

Lake Athens Marina & RV Park is located on picturesque Lake Athens where our guest can enjoy the great views from the shoreline. This 1,799 acre spring fed lake is located on FM 2495 and is best known for its largemouth bass. Lake Athens is a great place to enjoy fishing, as well as watersport activities

Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center

The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center is located nearby in Athens. It is the only fishery center in the state with a visitor center. Exhibits include 300,000 gallons of aquaria with native Texas fish, a daily dive show, and an alligator exhibit.

Cherokee Trace Drive Thru Safari

The Cherokee Trace Drive Thru Safari is located just past Jacksonville, Texas. They have a 300 acre wildlife park. This is a great thing to do with the whole family.

East Texas Arboretum

The East Texas Arboretum is located in Athens. It is a beautiful place to spend the day. The historical Wofford house located at the Arboretum was moved there by the Shultz family.

Sky Dive East Texas

Sky Dive East Texas is located in Gladewater, Texas. We have had several zipline guest sky dive here and highly recommend it.
